April 15, 2021 Meeting Minutes

Tanglewood Homeowners’ Association

Meeting April 15, 2021 Location: Zoom call

In Attendance: Suzy Wood, Tim Meyung, Jeff “Murph” Murphy, Andrew LaPorte, Andy Gordon

Hot Topics:

- Tennis court renovation to occur May/June

- Discussed volunteer role of social chair: Alex & Mike Rozzo agreed to take on and will oversee facebook group to promote future activities.


- Letters for Past Due Dues have gone out. Thank you to all who have paid dues to date. Please contact Suzy at 513-235-6437 or if you have any questions.

Old Business:

- HOA website address is Neighborhood documents are located there. Please let us know if you have questions.

- HOA Gmail address is up and running and checked daily. Please send questions to that address – response time is normally less than a day.

- Some discussion regarding printed notes. They have been emailed for several years now. If you do not have access to a computer and would like to receive monthly minutes printed please let us know.

- Murph provided clarification on our contract with Paramount and expectations for 2021.

New Business:

- Approved Murph to repair/improve locking systems on the tennis court.

- Discussed signs for pool rules/tennis courts as well as state-required signage for common areas

- Board approved small funding for pool area aesthetic

- This is the time of year many are thinking about home improvements/additions. Tim is working on updated forms to add to the website. Please remember to complete a form with your plans for HOA approval prior to beginning the project. Any questions – please ask. Will notify the HOA when the new forms are available.

- Tennis court renovation starts May/June. Pickleball lines will be added for all to enjoy. Please remind your young people that bikes, skateboards, scooters are strictly prohibited in the tennis court area. This will be critically important when the repairs are complete so that no damage is done to the court. We will be getting the locks more secure prior to the repair work.

- Looking into ways to possibly paint or spray with rust-oleum type product for tennis court fencing. Probably would have to budget that for next year. If anyone has any creative ideas please let us know.

- The landscaping around the playground was discussed. We will not be adding any new landscaping at this time. With the playground vandalism we experienced last year and

potential safety issues we are considering removing the bushes that are currently there. Also need to keep access points for mulch trucks. UPDATED: Procuring 2 quotes on removal for trees by the tennis court and shrubs by sign. Addressing mulch situation before next meeting

- At this time, we are looking to open the pool on Friday, May 21st. Watch for more details to come.

Discussion items for May meeting:

- Follow up on tree/shrub removal

- Signage for common areas

- Discuss the possibility of starting a community bulletin board.
